A fantastic weekend for the choir in Llandudno

Published on

We had a fantastic weekend in Llandudno, sharing the stage with National Eisteddfod winners Cor Meibion Maelgwn (that's the Maelgwn Male Voice Choir to non Welsh-speakers).

It was a great mixed programme where we were treated to some superb traditional Male Voice Harmony sung as it should be by the guys. We reckon we made good account of our ever broadening repertoire with Bridge Over Troubled Water and Bohemian Rhapsody, plus Cwm Rhonda and Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau which sorely tested our Welsh language skills! The follow-up informal sing at the hotel afterwards meant a great night was had by all.

The concert raised a grand total of £2044 in aid of the Hope House and Ty Gobaith Children's Hospices.

A big thank you to Geoff Templeton for the photos.
