We are always on the lookout for new members and our “Newbie Tuesday” workshop and taster sessions will support those who want to make their first journey into the world of music.
Every third Tuesday of the month we're inviting people who are considering joining us to come along to one of our absolutely free workshops. We'll pair you up with an experienced mentor who will help guide you through the whole session. They'll explain how the music we use is divided into four parts, and explain how each of the four voices contribute to the harmony of a song. We'll be singing songs that are popular, familiar and straightforward, and of course fun to sing. Our musical director will make sure you understand and enjoy the whole experience. There's no pressure, no commitment, and best of all no fees or obligation on your part!
Sessions will last a couple of hours, and many of us will be calling in for a well-earned pint on the way home, and of course you'll be invited along too!
Rehearsals take place at Lindley Methodist Church from 7:30pm - 9:30pm.
