Sunday 16th November 2025 marked the day we officially rebranded as Huddersfield Men's Voices. Our Gala Launch at Huddersfield Parish Church marked the momentous day as we move forward from our roots as Gledholt Male Voice Choir.  

We were very honoured to host West Yorkshire Deputy Lieutenant Dr Sofia Buncy MBE, The Honourable Liz Smaje, Mayor of Kirklees, the Revd Canon Rachel Firth, Station Commander Anthony Devine from WYFRS and many other guests from the Huddersfield Business and Charity communities. 

A short concert followed by a reception meant we could mingle and network, and we hope, push our relevance as a group promoting music within the fantastic Huddersfield Area and beyond. 

We were also excited to have representatives from Kirkwood Hospice present, together with Bob and Carol Bridgestock who offered signed copies of their crime thrillers in aid of the Hospice itself. 

We are thrilled to announce that with the help of Julia Owen from The Kirkwood and Bob and Carol Bridgestock, we raised a fantastic £428.50.
